'Gender identity, like personality, is a non-physical trait. It’s a person’s subconscious belief about what sex he is. Though everyone is born biologically either male or female, psychologically their gender identity develops over time, primarily between early childhood and puberty.'

'A heterosexual’s gender identity matches his biological sex. A homosexual’s gender identity is opposite his biological sex.10 Because male homosexuals psychologically identify as female (I’ll explain how later), they’re sexually attracted to other males. They don’t consciously think they’re girls (though some may). Rather, their gender confusion is subconscious.'

'Because of his failure to transition, the boy develops a self-protective “defensive detachment” towards masculinity, causing him to feel anxious around other males. Though he has a natural longing for male bonding, he might grow up with a subtle, hostile disposition towards males.'

These were Simon LaVey’s study of the human hypothalamus and Michael Bailey’s study of the sexual orientations of identical and fraternal twins. These studies are a cautionary tale to those who do not understand the scientific process and simply grab a hypothesis and present it as settled fact.'

Compassionately Coaxed Gender-Bender Rearing

'As many as 6 million children and adults in the U.S. have lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender parents, according to the institute, and its study found that “the female and male offspring of lesbian parents were significantly more likely to report same-sex attraction, sexual minority identity, and same-sex experience.”

'Parent-child relationships (“nurture”) significantly impact how children develop and identify themselves (Mills-Koonce et al., 2018). Considering that, how much of a role does genetics (“nature”) play? What ultimately determines whether a child identifies as straight or gay?'

'My youngest child, we will call them “Justin,” had a lot of difficulties figuring out precisely who they were. At first, they came out as gay, but their brother and sister didn’t think that was all of it, and BINGO! A few years later, on high-school graduation day, they celebrated in more than one way by coming out as transgender!'

'Justin had always felt like they didn’t fit in with the girls or boys but always said they were a “tomboy” compared to other girls in class. During their last year at high school, these feelings became more formalized into something approaching an identity in which they came out as transgender. Mariah’s relatively problem-free introduction into society as gay was a massive factor in Justin’s decision to make their declaration public and celebrate it.'

'Some scientists believe that genes determine sexuality. In contrast, others believe that environment and experience are the key factors. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Major scientific research on this topic happens daily, and there is still no consensus about what causes someone to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. 'As a child herself, Martenson had mostly been raised within stereotypical gender norms, such as being given pink belongings and dresses to wear. But in her late teens, she says she “discovered feminism” and began questioning gender norms. So, when she became a mother, she chose to buy her own child a wide range of clothes and gifts, ranging from trains to dolls, giving them free choice as to which they wanted to use on any given day.'

'She hoped her parenting style would help her child feel more comfortable exploring a range of hobbies and studies, rather than nudging them towards more gender-stereotypical activities. She also believed raising a child without gender would make things easier if they eventually identified as a gender different from their assigned birth sex, and help them accept other people who don’t adhere to the gender binary or other societal norms. “I'm letting them be anything… and teaching them to not be so narrow minded,” she says.'

'Berlin-based queer gender-neutral parenting author, blogger and lecturer Ravna Marin Nathanael Siever says choosing not to label a young child as a boy or girl started to gain traction in the 1980s, mostly in queer communities. This coincided with what they describe as “the second wave of feminism”, with women rebelling against being typecast as caregivers in the home or in certain jobs.'

“Rigid ideas of gender have been discussed as the main source of patriarchal oppression by decades of feminist work,” says Siever, who reviewed decades of gender studies literature for their book.'

'Since gender-neutral parenting remains a relatively recent and limited phenomenon, researchers don't yet know much about its long-term impact, including how it is affecting both children and wider society.'

'However, for some children, the lack of prescribed identity can bring with it uncertainty and increased anxiety,” he says. Rather than rejecting gender norms as their parents had hoped, they may “find the lack of structure and guidance challenging”, and could even “revert to more strongly embedded gender identities to compensate for these feelings of uncertainty, and to grasp hold of some certainty.”

'A very large body of social science research going back decades has documented the vital and unique role of mothers and of fathers in childhood development. These studies have also demonstrated the negative psychological, educational, and social effects on children who have been deprived of growing up in a home with both biological parents who are married to each other.'

'Clinical experience would suggest that motherlessness, while not studied as extensively as fatherlessness, causes even greater damage to a child, because the role of the mother is so crucial in establishing a child's ability to trust and to feel safe in relationships.'

'The extensive research on the serious psychological, academic, and social problems in youth raised in fatherless families demonstrates the importance of the presence of the father in the home for healthy childhood development.'

'How can one reconcile these significant findings with the widely publicized studies showing no harmful effects to children who have, or have lived with, lesbian or gay parents?'

'For example, in 2005, the American Psychological Association (APA) issued an official brief on lesbian and gay parenting, which included this assertion: “Not a single study has found children of lesbian and gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect relative to children of heterosexual parents” (American Psychological Association 2005).'

'However, a 2012 research study of the APA Brief and its bibliography by L. Marks stated that this strong assertion made by the APA was not empirically warranted.'

It’s almost as if parents are just willfully creating a world where there is only one way to be and they project that onto their children.'

'This blind indoctrination continues in elementary school and further into adolescence with daughter/daddy dances, overprotective father culture, and teasing kids that they are each other’s boyfriend/girlfriend if they have friends who are the “opposite sex.” Even in adulthood, there’s this idea that daddy never wants to be replaced by another man and that no woman will ever be good enough for mom’s perfect boy. It blows my mind that mainstream hetero society decided to take all of their twisted Freudian business and treat it like a public to-do list rather than save it for therapy.'

Inorganic Transgender Toxicities

'In the CDC website’s section on "Health Equity Considerations" – found under its "Infant and Young Child Feeding Toolkit," the center declared that "Transgender and nonbinary-gendered individuals may give birth and breastfeed or feed at the chest (chestfeed)."

'However, the outlet noted that the FDA's warning that one of these drugs, domperidone, "can pass into breast milk in small amounts and can sometimes give babies an irregular heartbeat as a result."

'The outlet spoke to multiple doctors who criticized the CDC for not mentioning the health risks posed to infants "chest feeding" from biological men transitioning with female-mimicking hormones.'

'She also claimed "we have no idea what the long-term effects on the child will be" if trans parents are using "all kinds of off-label hormones," meaning drugs that are being used in a different purpose than for which they were intended.' ~ Gabriel Hays | Published July 5, 2023 7:00pm EDT

'There is not a single long-term study to demonstrate the safety or efficacy of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for transgender-believing youth. This means that youth transition is experimental, and therefore, parents cannot provide informed consent, nor can minors provide assent for these interventions. Moreover, the best long-term evidence we have among adults shows that medical intervention fails to reduce suicide.'

'Puberty blockers may actually cause depression and other emotional disturbances related to suicide. In fact, the package insert for Lupron, the number one prescribed puberty blocker in America, lists “emotional instability” as a side effect and warns prescribers to “Monitor for development or worsening of psychiatric symptoms during treatment.”

'Temporary use of Lupron has also been associated with and may be the cause of many serious permanent side effects including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment and, when combined with cross-sex hormones, sterility.'

'In addition to the harm from Lupron, cross-sex hormones put youth at an increased risk of heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, blood clots and cancers across their lifespan. Add to this the fact that physically healthy transgender-believing girls are being given double mastectomies at 13 and hysterectomies at 16, while their male counterparts are referred for surgical castration and penectomies at 16 and 17, respectively, and it becomes clear that affirming transition in children is about mutilating and sterilizing emotionally troubled youth.'

'Many medical organizations around the world, including the Australian College of Physicians, the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom, and the Swedish National Council for Medical Ethics have characterized these interventions in children as experimental and dangerous. World renowned Swedish psychiatrist Dr. Christopher Gillberg has said that pediatric transition is “possibly one of the greatest scandals in medical history” and called for “an immediate moratorium on the use of puberty blocker drugs because of their unknown long-term effects.”

'It is well known that the on-set of puberty is an important time when personal identities begin to form and develop. Interestingly, at the gender clinic in this study the children were not given puberty blockers until age 15 and so most will have started their natural puberty by the time of follow-up. It is currently unknown what role puberty plays in the observed resolution of gender dysphoria in most of the children in the study. It is also unknown whether the increased use of puberty blockers in younger children, thereby postponing puberty altogether, will inadvertently increase persistence rates for gender dysphoria. No long term studies on the effect of puberty suppression have yet been conducted.'

'Childhood social transitions (name changes and presenting as the opposite sex using hairstyles and dress) were also shown to be important predictors for persistence of gender dysphoria into adolescence, especially for boys (see Figure 2). The reasons for this are currently unknown. The independent role and impact that social transitions play on persistence has never been studied. It may be that social transitions make it easier to persist in their new gender identity or conversely it may make it more difficult psychologically for the gender dysphoria to resolve and for children to desist. Long term studies are urgently needed in this area.'

CONCLUSION: Most children grow out of their gender dysphoria as they reach adolescence. Social transitions and/or puberty blockers are frequently used to ameliorate symptoms in these children. However, the long-term psychological impact of these therapeutic strategies on children is unknown. Therapeutic approaches for children with gender dysphoria are not evidence based and long-term outcome studies are urgently needed in this area.'

'In people assigned male at birth, GnRH analogues slow the growth of facial and body hair, prevent voice deepening, and limit the growth of the penis, scrotum and testicles.'

'In people assigned female at birth, this treatment limits or stops breast development and stops menstruation.'

'Taking puberty blockers alone, however, without other medical or behavioral treatment, might not be enough to ease gender dysphoria.'

'Puberty blockers are not recommended for children who have not started puberty.'

'In most cases, youth aren't old enough to get medical treatment without a parent, guardian or other caregiver's permission. This is called medical consent. For those who haven't reached the age of medical consent, a parent, guardian or caregiver often needs to agree to the use of puberty blockers. Parent and family support and encouragement also has been shown to be an important part of boosting mental health and well-being throughout this treatment.'

'In general, puberty begins around age 10 or 11, though it may start earlier or later. The effect of puberty blockers depends on when a person begins to take the medicine. GnRH analogue treatment can begin at the start of puberty to delay the development of secondary sex characteristics. In slightly later stages of puberty, the treatment could be used to stop menstruation or erections. It also may prevent further development of secondary sex characteristics.'

'If individuals assigned male at birth begin using GnRH analogues early in puberty, they might not develop enough skin on the penis and scrotum to be able to have some types of gender-affirming surgeries later in life. But other surgery approaches usually are available.'

'Those who take GnRH analogues typically have their height checked every few months. Yearly bone density and bone age tests may be advised. To support bone health, youth taking puberty blockers may need to take calcium and vitamin D supplements.'

'GnRH analogues are the most common medicines used to delay puberty. But they are not the only medicines that can be used. Talk to a member of the health care team for information about other treatment choices.' | June 14, 2023

'Systematic reviews of evidence conducted by public health authorities in Finland, Sweden, and England concluded that the risk/benefit ratio of youth gender transition ranges from unknown to unfavorable. As a result, there has been a shift from “gender-affirmative care,” which prioritizes access to medical interventions, to a more conservative approach that addresses psychiatric comorbidities and psychotherapeutically explores the developmental etiology of the trans identity. Debate about the safety and efficacy of “gender-affirming care” in the USA is only recently emerging.'

'Three recent papers examined the studies that underpin the practice of youth gender transition and found the research to be deeply flawed. Evidence does not support the notion that “affirmative care” of today’s adolescents is net beneficial. Questions about how to best care for the rapidly growing numbers of gender-dysphoric youth generated an intensity of divisiveness within and outside of medicine rarely seen with other clinical uncertainties. Because the future well-being of young patients and their families is at stake, the field must stop relying on social justice arguments and return to the time-honored principles of evidence-based medicine.'

'The most fundamental of these assumptions are that a teenager’s transgender identity, once expressed, is permanent; that it will cause lifelong suffering if no medical interventions are offered; and that “gender-affirming” interventions are safe and effective at improving short-term and long-term psychological outcomes. 'Here are examples from each danger category associated with medical gender transition: sexual dysfunction and infertility [49, 50]; shortened lifespan due to increased medical morbidity [7, 51]; difficulties in romantic partnerships [52, 53]; substance abuse and addiction.'

'However, at some point, the interventions reach their limit. While the face, chest, and/or genitals can be surgically altered, overall skeletal size or hand size will continue to appear incongruent, and dysphoria may persist.'

'Commensurate with these conclusions, in the last 3 years, three European countries—Finland, Sweden, and England—have reversed their unquestioning belief in “affirmative care” by setting new national health policies that prioritize mental health interventions as the first and often only treatment available outside of clinical research settings.'

'Parents want to know, “Where is this identity coming from?” “What about my child’s previous difficulties?” and critically, “Will transition give my child the best chance for a happy and fulfilling life?” Clinicians are ethically bound to honestly represent the uncertainty of the current state of knowledge, rather than asserting that body modification is the best, safest, and most effective treatment. 'Which is an interesting formulation. Until the day before yesterday, it was believed that children belong to their parents. Who knew that American parents are in a joint custody arrangement with the White House?'

This skin graft will often not take. When it does the result will neither resemble nor operate like a penis.'

'That’s just the girls. For the boys “gender-affirming bottom surgery” actually means their penis will be cut in half, flayed and partially inverted into their body. This attempt at creating a vagina will cause complications for life. The wound will keep trying to heal up. Urination will almost never be straightforward. Infections will be commonplace, as will painful internal hair growth.'

'According to Catholic Vote, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is “a vile anti-Catholic organization.” Their motto is “Go and sin some more,” and they use the cross for pole dances. The group satirizes Catholic beliefs for the sake of activism. They mock Easter Sunday with a Hunky Jesus/Foxy Mary contest. According to the Catholic League, they hold “Midnight Confessional Contests,” awarding the “hottest confessions.”

'The CTA rationalizes its stance with: “The Dodger’s decision is rooted in the same bigotry that’s led to the LGBTQIA+ books being banned, drag shows being criminalized, and life-saving medical care being taken away from minors.” But this is a deceptive statement. Americans are pushing back on pornographic books, drag queen events, and sex transition surgeries on children because these things are destructive to children and an affront to families and American values.'
